How we check offers
Every coupon and deal on MyDealsWallet is meant to help you pay less. This page explains how we find offers, what we check, when we remove them, and how we earn money.
What we check
- Source. We take offers from the store's own pages, its emails, or partner networks we work with. We do not post codes from unknown sources.
- The click-through. We open the offer through the same MyDealsWallet link you will use, so we see what you see.
- The product or pack. We confirm the offer names a real product or pack on the store's page.
- The saving. We confirm the discount, bonus or free item appears in the cart or on the product page. For a code, we enter it at checkout.
- The terms. We read the conditions: minimum spend, excluded items, one-per-order rules and the end date. We add the key terms to the offer's details panel.
- The date. We record the day we checked, and show it on the page.
What "checked" means
"Checked" means that on the date shown, our team confirmed the offer worked as described when we tested it. It does not mean the offer will work for every shopper.
- Stores can change prices, end offers early or limit them by region or account.
- Some offers apply only to new customers or to certain packs.
- The price in your cart is what counts. Please confirm it before you pay.
Offer types
| Label | What it means | What you do |
|---|---|---|
| Code | The store gives you a promo code to enter. | Click Show Code, copy it and paste it at checkout. |
| Deal | The discount applies automatically after you click through. No code is needed. | Click Get Deal and check the saving in your cart. |
We label an offer "Code" only when a code is needed. If no code is needed, we label it "Deal".
How often we re-check
Each store page shows a "last checked" date. Offers on popular stores are re-checked more often than offers on smaller stores, and we re-check an offer when shoppers vote that it did not work.
When we remove an offer
- The end date has passed.
- The code is rejected or the saving no longer appears.
- The store tells us it has ended.
- Shoppers report problems and we cannot reproduce the saving.
- The offer's wording is misleading or the saving does not match the store's real price.
How we earn money
MyDealsWallet is free to use. When you click an offer and buy from the store, we may earn a commission from that store or its affiliate network. This does not add to your price.
Commissions do not decide which offers we remove for being broken, and we do not charge shoppers. We aim to show every offer we have checked, including ones that pay us nothing. See our Terms & Conditions and Privacy Policy for more.
Health and supplement offers
For health and supplement stores we check the discount only. We do not test products and we do not verify health claims. Claims come from the manufacturer. Read the label, and talk to a healthcare professional before use if you are pregnant, nursing, taking medication or have a medical condition. Nothing on MyDealsWallet is medical advice.
Report a problem
If an offer does not work, use the thumbs-down button on the offer, or email contact@mydealswallet.com with the store name and the offer title. You can also send us an offer you found through our contact page. We read every report.
Questions
Do you guarantee an offer will work?
No. We check offers on the date shown, but stores can change them at any time.
Do you sell the products?
No. MyDealsWallet is an independent deals site. You buy from the store.
Why does an offer show an end date that has not passed but fail?
Stores can end an offer early or limit it to certain products or regions. Tell us and we will re-check it.
Can stores pay to be listed?
We earn commission when you buy through our links. We do not accept payment to hide problems with an offer.
